Applied Psychology
The journey of IAAP began on January 13, 1962, at Hotel Woodlands, Chennai. A group of visionary Psychologists resolved to unite the community under a single national body. Led by Dr. T.E. Shanmugam, the committee drafted the foundation that would shape psychological discourse in India for decades.
On February 18, 1962, at Presidency College, the establishment of IAAP was unanimously approved. Today, the Academy continues to serve society through rigorous research and professional excellence.
